Mission:
The Graduate Program in Allied Health advances knowledge and prepares leaders in diverse health fields who translate science for the promotion of health and the prevention of disease for all individuals.
Goals:
- Provide an interdisciplinary graduate program that fosters competence through critical thinking and translational research in the dynamic fields of health promotion and disease prevention
- Provide doctoral training within the Department of Allied Health Sciences through the establishment of a degree program in collaboration with interdisciplinary partners
- Advance knowledge in the allied health sciences through research and scholarship for the promotion of health and prevention of disease
- Prepare graduates to be leaders in the advancement of knowledge and translation of research in the allied health science
